Kuituoptinen kaapeli BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-LC-30M-BO Aqua 30m OM3 LC SC

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-SC-LC-30M-BO is a 30 metre OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC/UPC to SC/UPC connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. Constructed with laser-optimized OM3 multimode fibre and a flame-retardant LSZH outer sheath, this cable is intended for reliable connections between patch panels, transceivers and network equipment in data centres and enterprise environments. Factory-tested for input loss and return loss, it is supplied with measurement results and manufactured to meet industry requirements for optical performance and durability.

Advantages

The cable uses OM3 laser-optimized multimode fibre and industry-standard LC and SC UPC connectors to deliver low attenuation and high return loss suitable for short- to medium-distance high-bandwidth links. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules for consistent alignment and extended mating life. The LSZH outer jacket reduces halogen release and smoke emission in case of fire. Each unit is tested with interferometer and OTDR and supplied with a measurement protocol, ensuring predictable optical characteristics for installation and troubleshooting.

How to use

Route the fibre patch cable carefully through cable management ducts or between racks to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension. Remove protective caps from LC and SC connectors immediately before insertion, then insert connectors into the corresponding LC and SC ports until they click into place. Use the supplied measurement protocol to verify optical loss values after installation and perform an end-to-end test with appropriate transceivers and test equipment. When disconnecting, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Maintain a minimum bend radius as specified for OM3 multimode cables (commonly 10x the cable diameter) and avoid tight wraps around cable guides. Store and transport with connector caps fitted to protect endfaces, and clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating to ensure optimal attenuation and return loss performance.
