LevelOne 50-porttinen Fast Ethernet -kytkin, 2 x Gigabit SFP/RJ45 Combo

FGU-5021 is a 48-port Fast Ethernet switch (10/100 Mbps) in a 19-inch metal housing designed to expand local networks with reliable wired connectivity. The unit includes two Gigabit RJ45 ports and two SFP ports for fiber uplinks, supports 9K jumbo frames for improved throughput, and provides auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDIX for simplified cabling. The switch also supports 8K MAC address learning and aging and features diagnostic LEDs for link and activity status.

Advantages

The switch offers easy plug-and-play deployment without configuration, automatic MDI/MDIX detection to remove the need for crossover cables, and flexible use of any port as an uplink. Its 19-inch metal housing enables rack installation, while jumbo frame support and two SFP ports extend performance and fiber link distances. Diagnostic LEDs simplify network troubleshooting.

Key specifications

• Ports: 48 x 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet, 2 x Gigabit RJ45, 2 x SFP
• Duplex and negotiation: Full/half-duplex, auto-negotiation
• Auto-MDI/MDIX: Yes (on all ports)
• Jumbo frames: Up to 9K bytes
• MAC table: 8K entries (auto-learning and auto-aging)
• Housing: 19-inch metal rackmount
• Installation: Quick and easy, plug-and-play
• Indicators: Link and activity LEDs for each port

How to use

Install the switch in a 19-inch rack or place it on a stable surface, connect power, then plug network devices into any of the 10/100 Mbps ports. Use the Gigabit RJ45 or SFP ports for uplinks to core switches or fiber links. No manual configuration is required; the switch will auto-negotiate speed and duplex and detect MDI/MDIX. Monitor link and activity LEDs to verify connectivity and diagnose issues.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect high-bandwidth devices to the Gigabit or SFP ports and enable jumbo frames on connected devices where supported. Place the switch in a ventilated rack space and ensure firmware and connected equipment support required MTU and link settings.
