Metabo 631495000 puukkosahanterä 5 kpl 22,5 cm 10-14 TPI

The Metabo sabre saw blade set contains five 22.5 cm long blades designed for general-purpose demolition and renovation cutting. These blades are suitable for a variety of materials including metal, plastic, wood, and wood with embedded nails. With a tooth pitch corresponding to 10–14 TPI (approximately 1.8–2.6 mm), the set balances cutting speed and control for both coarse and finer cuts on mixed materials.

Advantages

These sabre saw blades offer uniform tooth geometry and robust construction that help maintain cutting performance under heavy use. The 22.5 cm length provides extended reach for deeper cuts, while the medium-tooth density delivers efficient material removal on wood and plastic and reduced clogging when cutting non-ferrous metals. Supplied as a set of five, the blades provide immediate replacements for continuous work and reduce downtime on job sites.

Suitable for

• Demolition and renovation tasks involving timber, plywood and composite boards
• Cutting plastic pipes and profiles
• Removing wooden elements that contain nails or screws
• Cutting thin metal sections, non-ferrous materials and metal profiles

Key specifications

• Blade length: 22.5 cm
• Tooth spacing: 1.8–2.6 mm (equivalent to 10–14 teeth per inch)
• Quantity in set: 5 blades
• Material compatibility: wood, wood with nails, plastics, thin metals
• Tooth density: medium (suitable for mixed cutting tasks)

How to use

Install the sabre saw blade in accordance with the saw manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the blade is seated securely and oriented for forward cutting. For best results, select a steady feed rate that lets the teeth cut without forcing; allow the blade to work through the material to avoid overheating or premature wear. When cutting wood with embedded nails or metal sections, reduce speed slightly and use controlled pressure to minimise blade flex and preserve tooth sharpness. Replace blades when cutting quality declines or teeth become damaged.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Secure the workpiece before cutting and follow safety guidelines for the specific sabre saw model. For prolonged cutting of metal, consider intermittent cutting to avoid overheating the blade.
