How to use

Place the base on a flat surface and extend the shaft to the desired height. Insert a handheld microphone into the mount and tighten the clip or shock mount until the microphone is secure. Adjust angle and vertical position as needed for optimal sound pick-up, then lock the adjustment mechanism to prevent movement during use. For transport, loosen the clamp, lower the shaft and collapse the stand to a compact size.

Recommendations

Position the microphone slightly off-axis from the sound source to reduce plosives and sibilance, and check that the base rests on a stable, level surface to minimize handling noise. When using the stand on stage, route cables away from the base to avoid accidental tripping or tugging on the microphone.
