The Brother MFC-J2340DW Inkjet Colour is a multifunction printer designed for A3 document handling, combining colour printing, scanning, copying and faxing in a single device. It uses inkjet print technology to produce colour output at a maximum resolution of 1200 x 4800 DPI and supports automatic duplex printing. The flatbed and feeder scanning system delivers colour scans with an optical resolution up to 1200 x 2400 DPI, enabling detailed reproduction of documents and images. Wireless connectivity allows direct printing from compatible devices, while the compact footprint and 17 kg weight make it suitable for small offices and home workspaces where A3 capability is required.

Advantages

The printer offers A3-capable colour printing and copying with high maximum resolution for sharp text and detailed images. Built-in duplex printing reduces paper consumption for two-sided output. Integrated Wi‑Fi enables wireless printing from laptops, smartphones and tablets without additional cabling. A multifunction design consolidates printing, scanning, copying and faxing into one unit, reducing the need for separate devices and saving space. The device’s black housing and moderate weight allow flexible placement in varied work environments.

Replace ink cartridges and perform routine maintenance following on-screen prompts and the supplied documentation to maintain print quality.

Recommendations

For consistent colour results, allow the printer to complete its calibration routines and use manufacturer-recommended inks and papers. When producing A3 prints or high-resolution scans, select appropriate paper weight and quality settings to prevent feed issues and preserve image detail. Keep the device in a dust-free environment and perform occasional printhead cleaning cycles as indicated by the device to avoid banding and ensure reliable performance.
