MPO-4xLC monimuoto OM4 patch-kaapeli BlueOptics HE67908QPH-KB005M 5 metriä

The BlueOptics HE67908QPH-KB005M 5 Meter MPO-4xLC multimode OM4 patch cable is engineered for high-density network environments where reliable, high-speed multimode connections are required. This factory-terminated cable converts a single MPO trunk to four LC duplex connectors, supporting parallel optics and short-reach multimode links. Constructed for use in data centers and enterprise backbone segments, the cable delivers consistent multimode OM4 performance and straightforward integration with equipment that uses MPO and LC interfaces.

Advantages

This multimode OM4 cable provides low insertion loss and high return loss consistent with industry multimode standards, ensuring efficient parallel transmission for 40G and 100G applications over short distances. The MPO to 4xLC termination reduces installation time compared with field-terminated assemblies and offers a compact solution for high-density racks and patch panels. The 5 meter length balances reach and management for typical intra-rack and inter-rack connections.

How to use

Route the MPO end to the MPO trunk or MPO-capable transceiver and connect the LC duplex ends to the corresponding LC ports on switches, transceivers, or patch panels, observing correct polarity and fiber numbering for parallel lanes. Secure the cable with appropriate cable management to avoid sharp bends and strain. Verify connectivity and optical loss using an optical power meter or insertion loss tester after installation to confirm link performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain bend radii above the manufacturer’s minimum specification and keep connectors clean using proper fiber cleaning tools. Use this OM4 MPO-4xLC assembly for short-reach multimode applications and ensure compatibility with parallel optics transceivers; avoid using it for singlemode links or beyond the practical distance limits of OM4 for the target data rate.
