NETGEAR GS108LP hallitsematon Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) 1U musta, harmaa

The NETGEAR Gigabit Unmanaged Switch series provides instant connectivity and reliable performance for small and medium businesses. Available in desktop, wall-mount and rackmount form factors with 5 to 24 port configurations, these unmanaged Gigabit switches expand network capacity to Gigabit speeds while remaining cost-effective. Models include options with PoE/PoE+ to power IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points. Built with high-quality components, the switches support 802.1p traffic prioritization, jumbo frames and the Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) standard to reduce power use during light traffic or when no link is detected.

Advantages

NETGEAR Gigabit Unmanaged Switches deliver dependable, long-lasting operation through rigorous testing and high-quality components. Energy Efficient Ethernet support lowers power consumption automatically when ports are idle or under light load, and short cable detection can further save energy. PoE+ models provide flexible power delivery with a built-in PoE power selector switch that permits the use of optional interchangeable power adapters to adjust available PoE power. Multiple mounting options (desktop, wall or rack) enable adaptable installation to suit different environments.

Key specifications

• Port configurations: 5 to 24 ports (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Form factors: desktop, wall-mount, rackmount (accessories included)
• PoE options: PoE and PoE+ available; built-in PoE power selector switch
• Standards: Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az), 802.1p traffic prioritization
• Jumbo frame support for larger packet transmission

How to use

Place the switch in the desired location—on a desk, mounted to a wall or installed in a rack using the included accessories. Connect network devices to the Gigabit Ethernet ports using appropriate Cat5e/6 cables. If using PoE/PoE+ devices, enable and configure PoE power as required and, if available, set the PoE power selector switch or attach an optional compatible power adapter to adjust total PoE budget. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit and connect the switch to mains power. Integrate into your network; unmanaged operation requires no additional configuration.

Recommendations

For best results, use Cat5e or Cat6 cables for Gigabit links, place the switch in a well-ventilated area, and verify PoE power requirements of connected devices before adjusting the PoE power selector or adding optional power adapters.
