Neutrik NTE4 äänimuuntaja — impedanssi 10 000 Ω, ensiöjännite 1,6 V

Neutrik NTE4 is an audio transformer designed for signal coupling and galvanic isolation in audio circuits. With a primary impedance of 10,000 Ω and a primary voltage rating of 1.6 V, it provides impedance transformation and isolation that help preserve signal integrity between stages. The compact construction and standardized Neutrik design make it suitable for integration into microphone interfaces, line-level matching networks and devices that require separation between input and output to reduce hum and ground-loop noise.

Advantages

The transformer delivers controlled impedance conversion while maintaining a stable frequency response across typical audio bands. Its galvanic isolation minimizes ground-loop interference and improves noise performance in mixed-signal environments. The compact footprint and robust construction ensure straightforward installation and long-term reliability in professional and consumer audio equipment.

Suitable for

• Microphone preamplifier coupling and balancing
• Line-level matching between different audio devices
• Ground-loop and hum reduction in audio systems
• Isolation of inputs or outputs in audio processing chains

Key specifications

• Primary impedance: 10,000 Ω
• Primary voltage rating: 1.6 V
• Function: impedance transformation and galvanic isolation
• Application domain: audio signal coupling and isolation
• Typical use: microphone and line-level interfaces

How to use

Install the Neutrik NTE4 in the signal path where impedance matching or isolation is required. Connect the source to the primary winding and the receiving stage to the secondary winding following the polarity markings and recommended wiring practice for balanced or unbalanced connections. Ensure secure mechanical mounting and proper soldering or terminal connections to avoid intermittent contact. Observe the primary voltage rating when designing the surrounding circuit to prevent core saturation or distortion at higher signal levels.

Recommendations

Use the transformer in circuits that operate within standard audio frequency ranges and keep signal levels within the specified primary voltage to maintain linear performance. When addressing ground-loop issues, combine the transformer's isolation with proper grounding techniques and cable routing. For best results in microphone preamplifier designs, verify impedance compatibility with the microphone and input stage and, if necessary, include pads or gain staging to match levels.
