nippuside Fischer 87479 — nylon läpinäkyvä, 120 mm x 2,5 mm

Plastic wall plug fischer duebel BN 2.5 x 120 in transparent color, supplied in a pack of 100. The 120 mm length is designed for applications that require an extended anchoring length in base materials that match the dowel geometry. This long dowel accepts screws with the corresponding nominal diameter and is intended for general fastening tasks such as securing profiles, routing conduits, fixing lightweight fixtures and installations where penetration depth and distribution of load are important.

Advantages

The transparent plastic construction provides basic corrosion resistance and visual discretion when installed in visible locations. The long 120 mm body allows deeper embedment and improved load distribution along the anchor length compared with short plugs. Supplied as a pack of 100, it offers a consistent supply for repetitive installation tasks and reduces the need for frequent restocking. The dowel is compatible with screws of matching nominal diameter, enabling straightforward assembly with common fastening hardware.

Suitable for

• Securing lightweight profiles and trims where long anchoring depth is required
• Fastening cable conduits and piping clips to solid or composite base materials
• Mounting fixtures in situations requiring increased pull-out resistance due to depth
• Batch installation projects or construction sites needing multiple identical anchors

Key specifications

• Material: plastic (transparent)
• Nominal plug length: 120 mm
• Designed for screws with matching nominal diameter
• Pack quantity: 100 pieces
• Typical use: general-purpose long dowel for anchoring in suitable base materials

How to use

Drill a hole in the base material to the recommended diameter and full depth that accommodates the 120 mm plug. Clean the hole of dust and debris before insertion. Insert the plug flush with the surface and position the fixture or profile. Drive a screw with the appropriate nominal diameter into the plug until the fixture is held securely; avoid over-tightening which can deform the plastic body and reduce anchoring performance. Follow standard installation practices for the chosen base material.

Recommendations

Choose the drill diameter and screw size that correspond to the plug's nominal diameter and consider the base material type (solid masonry, hollow blocks, or composite panels) when planning embedment depth. For heavy loads or structural applications, use anchors and fasteners rated for those conditions and consult technical guidance specific to the installation.
