Objektiivi Sony SEL300F28GM FE 300MM F2.8 GM OSS

The Lens Sony SEL300F28GM FE 300MM F2.8 GM OSS is a high-performance 300mm F2.8 telephoto lens from Sony's G Master series, intended for professional photographers who require reliable optics for demanding shooting situations. The lens combines a bright F2.8 maximum aperture with advanced optical design and built-in Optical SteadyShot (OSS) stabilization to support sharp images in a variety of conditions. Its fast autofocus and durable construction make it suitable for field use in wildlife and sports photography, where reach, speed, and image quality are essential.

Advantages

The Sony SEL300F28GM offers a bright aperture for improved low-light performance and subject isolation, along with optics engineered for high resolution and contrast across the frame. Integrated OSS helps reduce camera shake when shooting handheld or with slower shutter speeds. Fast and accurate autofocus supports tracking moving subjects, and the build quality is designed to withstand professional use outdoors. The lens is compatible with Sony FE-mount cameras and benefits from G Master-level rendering for smooth bokeh and fine detail.

Suitable for

• Wildlife photography requiring long reach and subject separation
• Sports and action photography with fast-moving subjects
• Outdoor editorial and reportage work where durability matters
• Portraits at long focal length for strong subject isolation

How to use

Attach the lens to a compatible Sony FE-mount camera following the camera and lens manufacturer's instructions. Use the bright F2.8 aperture to achieve shallow depth of field for subject separation, increasing shutter speed to freeze motion when photographing fast subjects. Engage Optical SteadyShot (OSS) for handheld shooting at moderate shutter speeds; for the fastest action or when using very slow shutter speeds, consider a sturdy tripod or monopod. Use autofocus tracking modes available in the camera to maintain focus on moving subjects, and select appropriate metering and focus point settings according to composition and subject behavior.

Recommendations

For best results in wildlife and sports scenarios, pair the lens with a camera body offering fast continuous autofocus and high-frame-rate shooting. Maintain lens and mount contacts clean, use proper support (tripod/monopod) for extended sessions, and protect the lens with weather-appropriate covers when shooting outdoors. Consider using neutral or circular polarizing filters as needed, keeping in mind filter size and potential effects on exposure.
