Omnitronic S-Video-kaapeli 30209950, 1,5 m, plugi–plugi

S-Video cable Omnitronic 30209950, 1.5 m length, provides an analog video connection between S-Video compatible devices. The cable carries separate luminance (Y) and chrominance (C) signals through a single connector pair, enabling connection of DVD players, older televisions, camcorders and VCRs that support S-Video. With a 1.5 m cable length and male-to-male configuration, this lead is intended for short-range AV interconnects in home entertainment systems and legacy equipment setups.

Advantages

The Omnitronic S-Video cable simplifies analog video routing by keeping luminance and chrominance signals in one connection, reducing signal crosstalk compared with composite video. Its male-to-male connectors and 1.5 m length make it easy to install between nearby devices without excess cable. The design is compact and compatible with standard S-Video jacks used on many legacy audio-visual components.

How to use

Ensure both source and display devices have S-Video connectors and are powered off before connection. Insert one male S-Video connector into the source device (for example a DVD player) and the other into the S-Video input on the receiving device (for example a TV or capture device). Power on the devices and select the correct video input on the display or capture hardware. Adjust device settings as required to use the S-Video input. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends to maintain cable integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, use this S-Video cable for short runs between devices located within 1.5 m. If connecting devices over longer distances or requiring higher-resolution signals, consider alternatives such as component video, HDMI (with converters where applicable), or professional-grade shielded cables. Keep connectors clean and store the cable coiled without tight bends to prolong life.
