OWC Thunderbolt Pro Dock langallinen Thunderbolt 3 musta 85W virransyöttö 40 Gbit/s

OWC Thunderbolt Pro Dock provides high-bandwidth connectivity and flexible port options for demanding high-resolution photo and video workflows. The dock combines 10Gb/s Ethernet, front-facing CFexpress and SD card readers, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one USB-C port and three USB-A ports to support fast media ingest, multi-display output and peripheral management while powering a laptop with up to 85W.

Advantages

The Thunderbolt Pro Dock enables RAW video and photo file transfers at extremely high speeds and supports collaborative workflows over 10Gb Ethernet. Its fanless aluminum design reduces noise during large transfers, and the compact enclosure fits easily into carts or studio setups. Front-access media readers streamline on-location card uploads, while dual Thunderbolt ports allow daisy-chaining of up to five additional Thunderbolt devices for studio-level expansion.

How to use

Place the dock on a stable surface or in a cart drawer and connect the host laptop using one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports. Insert CFexpress or SD media into the front card readers to ingest files at high speed, or connect external drives, displays and peripherals to the rear ports. Use the 10Gb Ethernet port for fast shared-network collaboration or low-latency AVB streaming. For studio expansion, daisy-chain compatible Thunderbolt devices to the second Thunderbolt port.

Recommendations

Use OWC Dock Ejector software to safely disconnect drives before removing media or powering down the dock. For large multi-camera shoots, combine the dock with high-performance OWC drives and RAID units and use the 10Gb Ethernet for centralized transfers.
