Patch-kaapeli BlueOptics 470-ABOL MPO-MPO monimuoto OM4 3 metriä sininen

The BlueOptics 470-ABOL MPO-MPO Multimode OM4 3 Meter Blue patch cable is a multimode fiber link engineered for high-bandwidth short-range connections. With MPO-to-MPO terminations and OM4 fiber specification, the 3 m cable supports dense parallel optics and high-speed trunking in racks and patch panels. The blue jacket identifies the cable visually for organized installations while the MPO connector layout provides compact multi-fiber connectivity for data center and enterprise network environments.

Advantages

This MPO-MPO OM4 cable delivers low insertion loss and high modal bandwidth suitable for 40G/100G parallel applications and future-proof short-reach links. The 3 m length reduces excess slack in rack-to-rack or panel-to-panel runs and the multimode construction offers easier alignment and lower coupling loss compared with older fiber grades. The cable’s flexibility and jacket durability simplify routings in crowded cable trays and patch fields.

Suitable for

• Data center trunking between switches, servers and patch panels
• High-speed parallel optics links (40G/100G) using MPO connectors
• Enterprise backbone and consolidation points requiring OM4 performance
• Short-reach links in telecom rooms and network closets

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Connector type: MPO to MPO multi-fiber connectors
• Length: 3 meters
• Jacket color: Blue
• Typical use: Short-range high-bandwidth links and parallel optics

How to use

Install the cable by aligning each MPO connector with the corresponding MPO adapter or port, ensuring that the connector key orientation matches the port marking. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable along its route using appropriate cable management to maintain minimum bend radius for multimode fiber. After installation, verify link continuity and insertion loss with appropriate fiber test equipment and label both ends for easy identification in the patch field.

Recommendations

Maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius and protect MPO endfaces from dust by using dust caps until final connection. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating to minimize insertion loss. For best performance in parallel optics, ensure polarity and keying are correct and perform optical loss testing after installation.
