Puhdistusspiraali Rothenberger 9 mm x 5 m viemärien ja putkien puhdistukseen

The Cleaning Spiral Rothenberger 9 mm x 5 m is a manual drain and pipe cleaning tool designed to clear common household blockages. Constructed from flexible steel, the 9 mm diameter spiral and 5 m length allow it to reach into bends and tight sections of sink, shower and small-diameter drain lines to extract hair, soap scum and other light obstructions. It is compatible with standard manual drain tools and provides a compact, easy-to-store solution for routine maintenance and quick unclogging tasks.

Advantages

The flexible steel construction balances rigidity and bendability so the spiral can navigate curved pipe runs while transmitting sufficient torque to dislodge debris. Its 9 mm diameter fits most domestic drain openings without requiring modification, and the 5 m length covers common trap and branch lengths in kitchens and bathrooms. The design is simple to use, requires no power source, and minimizes the need for chemical cleaners when removing visible blockages.

Suitable for

• Clearing hair and soap residue from sink and shower drains
• Removing small debris from bathroom and kitchen waste pipes
• Routine maintenance of domestic drain lines to prevent slow drainage
• Light professional tasks in apartments, rental properties and small commercial washrooms

Key specifications

• Material: flexible steel spiral
• Spiral diameter: 9 mm
• Length: 5 m
• Compatibility: fits standard manual drain tools and hand-operated drums
• Intended use: manual clearing of hair, soap scum and small obstructions in drains and pipes

How to use

Insert the spiral into the drain opening and rotate it by hand while feeding it forward to reach the blockage. Apply steady, controlled rotation and gentle push-pull motions to engage and capture hair or debris on the spiral. Once resistance decreases or the obstruction is retrieved, slowly retract the spiral while continuing to rotate to avoid dislodging material back into the pipe. After use, rinse the spiral with water and allow it to dry before storage.

Recommendations

Do not force the spiral through heavily corroded or brittle pipes; use only light to moderate force to avoid damaging fixtures. For blockages that do not clear with manual use, consult a professional service. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling and cleaning the spiral to avoid contact with removed debris and cleaning residues.
