Viemäripumppu Rothenberger Rohrpump 7.1991 — käsikäyttöinen viemäri- ja putkipumppu

Rothenberger Rohrpump 7.1991 — hand-operated drain and pipe pump is a mechanical tool for clearing blockages in domestic and light professional plumbing. The device uses manual pumping action to create pressure and suction that dislodges clogs in sinks, showers, toilets and small-diameter pipework without the need for chemicals. Its compact, portable design makes it suitable for quick interventions and routine maintenance where access is limited and a powered machine is impractical.

Advantages

The hand-operated mechanism provides controlled pressure and suction, allowing targeted clearing of blockages while minimising risk to pipe fittings. Chemical-free operation protects seals and the environment and avoids the hazards associated with corrosive drain cleaners. Lightweight construction and a compact footprint ensure easy transport and storage, and simple parts enable straightforward cleaning and inspection after use.

Suitable for

• Sinks and basins in kitchens and bathrooms
• Shower trays and bathtubs
• Toilet bowls and U-bend clogs
• Small-diameter service pipes and trap cleaning

Key specifications

• Manual hand pump operation providing alternating pressure and suction
• Compact, portable design for easy handling and storage
• Compatible with standard domestic drain openings and small pipe diameters
• Durable materials suitable for repeated household use
• Tool intended for mechanical clearing without chemical agents

How to use

Position the pump over the drain opening ensuring a secure seal between the pump head and the drain surface. Operate the hand lever or piston with steady strokes to build pressure and suction cycles; maintain consistent motion until the obstruction loosens and water begins to drain. If working on a toilet, follow safe handling practices for hygiene and stabilise the pump to avoid splashback. After use, flush the line with water to confirm flow and clean the pump head and any exposed components before storage.

Recommendations

Use the pump as a first-line mechanical solution for localized blockages. Avoid excessive force that could stress older or fragile fittings. Do not use the device with strong chemical drain cleaners present in the line; flush the system thoroughly before mechanical treatment. Store the pump in a dry place and inspect seals and moving parts periodically for wear.
