Bessey DIY-SET1-A 5-piece clamp set includes four clamps and a pair of tin snips designed for DIY and light workshop tasks. The set combines holding tools and metal cutting shears to assist with assembly, gluing, drilling, sawing and sheet metal trimming. Components are compact for home repair and hobby use, offering a practical solution when temporary secure clamping and straight metal cuts are required.

Advantages

The set provides versatile clamping and cutting capability in a single kit, allowing users to switch quickly between holding workpieces and trimming sheet metal. Clamps deliver stable pressure to keep parts aligned during glue curing, fastening or machining operations. The tin snips are designed for controlled cutting of thin metal sheets with reduced distortion. The compact selection of tools facilitates storage and transport for occasional workshop tasks.

Suitable for

• Gluing and assembly of wooden parts
• Holding workpieces for drilling or sawing
• Trimming and cutting thin sheet metal
• General home repair and hobby projects
• Light workshop tasks and prototype work

Key specifications

• Kit composition: four clamps and one pair of tin snips
• Clamp type: manual hand clamps suitable for temporary holding
• Tin snips: metal shears for cutting thin sheet material
• Intended use: DIY, hobby and light workshop applications
• Size and weight: compact, easy to store and carry

How to use

Select an appropriate clamp placement to evenly distribute pressure across the workpiece and avoid pinching or over-tightening. Use the clamps to hold parts in alignment while glue cures, during fastening, or when performing drilling and sawing operations. For sheet metal, position the tin snips at the marked cutting line and make steady cuts, keeping the material supported to minimize bending. Inspect cutting edges and clamp faces before use and clean any debris after operation to maintain tool function.

Recommendations

Wear suitable personal protective equipment when cutting metal, such as gloves and eye protection. Avoid using the clamps for lifting or as a permanent fastener; they are intended for temporary holding. Do not use tin snips on material thicker than their rated capacity to prevent damage to the blades and ensure safe operation.
