Puukkosaha Metabo SSE 18 LTX Brushless 3000 iskua/min musta vihreä

The Metabo SSE 18 LTX Brushless 3000 spm Black Green is a cordless reciprocating saw with a brushless motor that delivers efficient cutting performance and longer runtime. Designed for portability, it runs on an 18 V battery and achieves a maximum idle stroke rate of 3000 strokes per minute. The tool is compact and lightweight at approximately 1.8 kg, and accepts blades up to 16 mm thickness, making it suitable for a variety of demolition, renovation and installation tasks.

Advantages

The brushless motor improves energy efficiency and reduces maintenance compared with brushed alternatives, while providing consistent power at high stroke rates. The lightweight construction enhances user control and reduces fatigue during extended use. Cordless operation offers freedom of movement and quick setup on jobsites without the need for a power cord. The tool’s design accommodates blades with up to 1.6 cm cutting capacity for versatile material engagement.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Cutting timber, softwood and medium-density lumber during demolition or framing
• Pruning and cutting tree roots and thick branches in landscape work
• Cutting metal pipes and profiles using appropriate bi-metal or metal-cutting blades
• Removing old window frames, door frames and interior fixtures during renovation
• Plasterboard and composite panel cutting where orbital reciprocating action is effective

Key specifications

• Power source: 18 V battery (cordless)
• Motor type: brushless for improved efficiency and lifespan
• Maximum idle stroke rate: up to 3000 strokes per minute
• Approximate weight: 1.8 kg for easier handling
• Maximum blade thickness/cutting capacity: 16 mm

How to use

Install a compatible reciprocating saw blade according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions and ensure the battery is fully charged before starting work. Secure the workpiece and select a blade suitable for the material to be cut. Start the saw at low speed to position the blade, then increase to the required stroke rate for efficient cutting. Maintain a steady, controlled feed without forcing the blade; let the saw’s stroke rate and appropriate blade do the work. After finishing, turn off the tool, remove the battery for transport or storage, and inspect the blade for wear.

Recommendations

Use blades specified for the target material and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye and hearing protection. For prolonged tasks, rotate between blades of different tooth geometry for optimal cut speed and life. Regularly check and tighten blade mounting and maintain the battery and tool according to the manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure consistent performance.
