Räkkitarvike Lanberg PPU6-2048-B 19 tuuman 2U 48 porttia

The Lanberg PPU6-2048-B 19 inch 2U 48 ports is a rack accessory designed to organize and route network cables within standard 19-inch equipment racks. With a 2U height and forty‑eight port openings, the panel improves cable arrangement, simplifies access to patch cords and contributes to clearer cable runs in server rooms and data closets while maintaining a low-profile design for space efficiency.

Advantages

This rack panel centralizes cable terminations into forty‑eight accessible ports, reducing cable clutter and making identification and maintenance tasks faster. The 2U form factor conserves rack space while providing a high port density. Durable construction ensures long-term mechanical stability and consistent alignment of cables, and the open port layout supports a variety of cable types and connectors for flexible installation.

Suitable for

• Organizing patch cables in server rooms and data centers
• Front-facing termination point for horizontal cabling runs
• Network closets and telecommunications cabinets
• Environments requiring high port density in limited rack space

Key specifications

• Rack width: 19 inch compatible
• Unit height: 2U
• Number of ports: 48
• Mounting: front-mounted panel for standard 19" racks
• Material: metal construction for structural support
• Finish: black powder-coated surface for corrosion resistance
• Port layout: evenly spaced openings to accommodate standard patch cables

How to use

Install the panel in a vacant 2U position within a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts. Route incoming horizontal cabling to the rear of the panel and insert connectorized patch cables into the front-facing ports. Maintain gentle bend radii for cables to prevent strain and ensure secure seating of each connector. Label ports as needed to reflect the network topology and ease future changes.

Recommendations

For best results, combine the panel with horizontal cable managers and patch panels to separate power and data runs, preserve airflow, and minimize electromagnetic interference. Regularly inspect cable strain relief and re-torque mounting hardware during routine maintenance to sustain reliable physical connections.
