Reititin Telekom Speedport Pro Plus Gaming Edition Wi-Fi 802.11ac

The Telekom Speedport Pro Plus Gaming Edition Wi-Fi 802.11ac is a wired router designed for home and small office networks. It provides Gigabit Ethernet connectivity with three RJ-45 LAN ports and supports multiple Wi‑Fi standards (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac) to deliver fast wireless performance. The router incorporates modern security protocols including WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 to protect network traffic. Its compact dimensions (137 mm x 137 mm x 242 mm) and black finish allow easy placement in different environments while keeping a discreet, functional appearance.

Advantages

The device combines wired Gigabit LAN ports and dual‑band 802.11ac wireless support to accommodate bandwidth‑intensive applications such as online gaming and video streaming. Built‑in support for WPA3 alongside legacy WPA/WPA2 improves wireless security and access control. The compact and upright enclosure saves desk or shelf space and the black colour integrates with most setups. Physical LAN ports provide stable connections for devices that require low latency and consistent throughput.

Suitable for

• Home networks requiring both wired Gigabit connections and 802.11ac Wi‑Fi
• Small office setups with multiple wired clients
• Online gaming where low latency and stable LAN are needed
• Streaming high‑definition video and media on several devices

How to use

Place the router on a stable, well‑ventilated surface and connect the WAN port to your internet modem or incoming network line. Use the three RJ‑45 LAN ports for wired devices such as gaming consoles, desktop PCs or networked storage to obtain stable Gigabit connections. Access the router’s web interface or mobile setup utility to configure SSID names, Wi‑Fi passwords and security mode (select WPA3 if supported by client devices). Apply firmware updates when available and follow on‑screen steps to set up port forwarding or QoS rules if required for gaming or prioritizing traffic.

Recommendations

For best performance, position the router in a central location away from large metal objects and other sources of interference. Use wired Ethernet for devices that require the lowest latency, and enable WPA3 for devices that support it while keeping WPA2 compatibility for older clients. Regularly check for firmware updates and reboot the router periodically to maintain consistent performance.
