Sähköinen kulmapistoke Bachmann kokokumi 740.017 IP44 musta, 3-napainen kumikulmapistoke

The Bachmann Vollgummi 740.017 is a three‑pole rubber‑sheathed angled electrical plug engineered for applications that require splash and dust protection. With an IP44 rating, the connector provides reliable protection against splashing water and solid objects greater than 1 mm, while the angled form factor reduces stress on connected cables and allows installation in tight spaces. The construction features elastic rubber insulation that improves impact resilience and provides tactile grip for handling in workshop and field conditions.

Advantages

The rubber housing offers enhanced mechanical protection and vibration damping compared with rigid plastic designs, and the angled configuration lowers bending stress at the cable exit. An IP44 protection class ensures resistance to splashes and ingress of coarse particles, making the plug suitable for covered outdoor use and industrial environments where occasional moisture and dust occur. The device is intended for three‑pole power connections and includes integrated strain relief to secure the cable and contacts.

Suitable for

• Temporary power connections in covered outdoor areas
• Workshops, garages and maintenance zones
• Portable equipment and machinery with three‑pole connections
• Event installations and stage power where angled plugs improve cable routing

Key specifications

• Protection rating: IP44 (splash and solid particle protection)
• Contact configuration: three‑pole
• Housing material: full rubber (Vollgummi) for elastic insulation
• Connector orientation: angled plug for reduced cable bending
• Mechanical features: integrated strain relief and impact‑resistant design

How to use

Before installation, verify the supply voltage and connector compatibility with the equipment to be powered. Ensure the cable conductor cross‑section and insulation are suitable for the current rating of the installation. Strip the cable ends according to the manufacturer's recommended lengths, insert the conductors into the corresponding terminals and secure them under the terminal screws. Assemble the rubber housing and tighten the strain relief so the cable is held firmly without crushing the insulation. Connect the plug to a mating socket rated for three‑pole use and IP44 protection. Perform a visual inspection and, where applicable, an electrical continuity and insulation resistance test before applying load.

Recommendations

Use the plug only in environments consistent with its IP44 rating: protected against splashes and coarse particles but not suitable for continuous exposure to rain or immersion. For long‑term outdoor installations exposed to direct weather, select a connector with a higher ingress protection rating. Periodically inspect the rubber housing and cable gland for signs of wear, cracking or chemical damage, and replace the plug if protective properties are compromised.
