Seinäasennuskaappi Rittal AX 1073.000, IP66, vaaleanharmaa

Rittal AX 1073.000 is a compact wall mounted rack in light grey, designed for secure installation of electronic and network equipment where IP66 protection is required. The AX Basic sheet-steel enclosure offers a dust-tight construction with protection against powerful water jets, making it suitable for industrial, outdoor and washdown environments. The compact AX design uses the same 25 mm system pitch pattern as larger VX25 enclosures and includes integral enclosure locators in the roof, base and side to simplify mounting and retrofitting.

Advantages

The Rittal AX compact enclosure provides robust environmental protection with an IP66 rating and a corrosion-resistant light grey finish. Its sheet-steel construction and integral locators enable fast, secure installation of rails and accessories without drilling. The standardized 25 mm pitch system ensures compatibility with a wide range of system components, while the wall-mounted form factor saves floor space and enables sealed mounting of servers, switches and control gear in demanding conditions.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a suitable wall surface using appropriate fasteners rated for the installation environment and load. Install rails and system accessories by engaging them with the integral locators in the roof, base and side, following the 25 mm pitch pattern for alignment. Route cabling through the provided gland entries or pre-cut apertures as required, and ensure all seals and gaskets are correctly seated to maintain IP66 protection. Secure equipment such as switches, small servers or control modules to the internal mounting rails and verify mechanical and electrical connections before closing the enclosure.

Recommendations

To preserve IP66 performance, inspect seals and cable glands after installation and during periodic maintenance. Use compatible mounting rails and accessories from the AX/VX25 system family for secure, drill-free retrofitting. For outdoor or corrosive environments, confirm the mounting hardware and fasteners are corrosion-resistant and sized for wind, vibration and load conditions.
