Seinälevy / katkaisimen peitelevy Bachmann 917.158 RJ-45-pistorasioille, valkoinen

Bachmann 917.158 is a white wall plate / switch cover designed to accommodate a single RJ‑45 network socket. The plate provides a clean, low‑profile finish for wall‑mounted Ethernet connections and is intended for use with Bachmann compatible outlet modules. Supplied as a single piece, the cover helps to conceal cable entries and presents a uniform appearance for office, server room, or residential network installations.

Advantages

The wall plate offers a neat, professional finish for network wall outlets while maintaining a compact and unobtrusive appearance. Its neutral white colour integrates well into typical interior environments, and the single‑gang format keeps installation simple. The faceplate is designed for straightforward mounting and aligns with standard RJ‑45 socket dimensions to ensure reliable access to Ethernet connections.

Suitable for

• Office network outlets for desktop PCs and VoIP phones
• Server rooms and networking racks where wall‑mounted ports are required
• Home network points for routers, smart TVs or wired multimedia devices
• Renovation projects replacing damaged or outdated faceplates

When it may not be suitable

This single‑gang faceplate is not suitable where multi‑port panels or larger faceplates are required to hold two or more RJ‑45 modules side by side. It also does not include the RJ‑45 insert, keystone jack, or mounting screws — these must be provided separately or be part of the existing outlet module. For specialised installations requiring weatherproofing or shielding against electromagnetic interference, a different rated or shielded faceplate should be selected.

Key specifications

• Colour: white
• Form factor: single‑gang wall plate / switch cover
• Compatibility: designed for RJ‑45 network sockets (single module)
• Material: durable plastic (standard faceplate material for indoor use)
• Use environment: indoor installations—offices, server rooms, homes

How to use

Turn off cabling equipment if working near live network hardware. Remove the existing plate if replacing one, then position the Bachmann faceplate over the RJ‑45 module. Align the module with the aperture and secure the module or jack to the mounting box or bracket according to the socket manufacturer’s instructions, then fasten the faceplate with appropriate screws. Verify the Ethernet cable connection through the socket and re‑power networking devices when installation is complete.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm the existing RJ‑45 module or keystone jack dimensions match the single‑gang aperture
• Ensure colour and finish match surrounding fittings and interior design
• Check whether mounting screws and the RJ‑45 insert are included or required separately
• Verify the plate is intended for indoor use and meets any site‑specific requirements

Recommendations

For tidy network installations, pair this faceplate with compatible Bachmann RJ‑45 modules and use proper cable management behind the wall. When fitting in high‑traffic or technical areas, verify all connections for correct wiring and secure mounting to prevent accidental disconnection.
