DisplayPort-kaapeli S/CONN 30-151005 100 m musta

The S/CONN 30-151005 DisplayPort cable by ShiverPeaks is a 100 m black cable with DisplayPort connectors on both ends, engineered for long-distance audio and video signal transmission. With a 4.8 mm diameter, the cable is intended for installations where extended reach and reliable digital connectivity are required, such as professional AV systems, conference rooms, and control centers. It supports high-resolution displays and preserves signal integrity over extended runs.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable provides consistent digital video and audio transfer across long distances while maintaining a slim 4.8 mm profile for easier cable routing through conduits or cable trays. The end-to-end DisplayPort connectors ensure direct compatibility with DisplayPort-equipped source devices and monitors. The black jacket offers a discreet appearance suitable for visible installations and reduces visual clutter in professional environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, workstations or media players to DisplayPort-equipped monitors or screens over long runs
• AV installations in conference rooms, auditoriums and control rooms
• Temporary or fixed event setups requiring extended cable length

Key specifications

• Cable length: 100 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Outer diameter: 4.8 mm
• Colour: Black

How to use

Route the cable from the source device to the display, avoiding sharp bends and tight radii to preserve signal quality. Plug the DisplayPort connector firmly into the DisplayPort output of the source device and into the DisplayPort input of the monitor or display. For long runs, ensure that connectors are seated correctly and secure any excess cable to prevent strain on the connector ends. Test the video and audio signal after installation and make adjustments to cable routing as necessary.

Recommendations

For best results in professional installations, avoid coiling excess cable tightly and keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines to reduce potential interference. If the environment requires extended shielding or active signal management, consider using signal boosters or repeaters compatible with DisplayPort standards for extremely long or complex runs.
