S-VGA-kaapeli S/CONN 5 m malli CO 78061-5

The ShiverPeaks S-VGA Cable S/CONN 5m Model CO 78061-5 is a 5-meter analog VGA lead designed for transmitting video signals between computers, monitors and projectors. It features a 15-pin HD15 male to 15-pin HD15 female connection in a molded design with ferrite suppression and a characteristic 75 Ohm impedance. The cable's length and construction are intended to offer stable image transmission over short to medium distances while fitting into typical office, classroom and home AV setups.

Advantages

The cable provides a standardized 15-pin VGA interface compatible with a wide range of display devices and graphics output ports. The molded connectors and ferrite core help reduce electromagnetic interference and increase mechanical durability at connection points. Its 5 m length offers flexibility in device placement without requiring signal boosters for most conventional VGA applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops with VGA output to monitors
• Linking computers to projectors in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Extending the reach between video sources and displays in home entertainment setups
• Temporary AV setups where a reliable analog video link is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 meters
• Connector types: 15-pin HD15 male to 15-pin HD15 female
• Impedance: 75 Ohm
• Connector style: molded with ferrite core for interference suppression
• Color: black

How to use

Connect the HD15 male end to the VGA output on the source device and plug the HD15 female end into the display device accepting a VGA input. Ensure both devices are powered off or set to compatible resolutions before connecting to minimize the risk of signal or sync issues. After connecting, power on the display and source, then adjust display resolution and refresh rate through the source device settings if required for optimal image quality.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive kinking of the cable; keep the ferrite end clear of tight cable ties. Use this cable for analog VGA signals up to typical monitor resolutions supported by the connected devices. If you encounter signal degradation over longer distances or at higher resolutions, consider using a signal amplifier or switching to a digital interface where available.
