Silppuri HSM Pure 740 suikalesilppu 3,9 mm, 400 mm työleveys, silppuaa CD-levyt ja luottokortit

HSM Pure 740 is a strip-cut shredder with a 3.9 mm cut width and a 400 mm working width, engineered for secure disposal of paper, CDs and credit cards. The unit is built to process wide-format documents and media while maintaining a compact footprint for office use. With strip-cut shredding it reduces paper volume efficiently and helps protect sensitive information during bulk disposal and routine document handling.

Advantages

The HSM Pure 740 combines a wide working width with a fine 3.9 mm strip cut to deliver consistent throughput for large stacks and wide documents. It accepts optical media and payment cards in addition to paper, enabling convenient single-device handling of mixed waste streams. Its simple strip-cut mechanism offers reliable operation and low maintenance compared with more complex cutting systems. The design supports efficient disposal workflows, reducing storage needs and making downstream waste handling simpler.

Suitable for

• Offices and departments handling wide-format paperwork
• Facilities that need to destroy CDs, DVDs and credit cards along with paper
• Bulk shredding tasks to reduce paper volume before recycling
• Shared shredding stations for routine document disposal

Key specifications

• Cut type: strip cut
• Cut width: 3.9 mm
• Working width: 400 mm
• Media handled: paper, optical discs (CD/DVD), credit cards
• Intended use: office bulk shredding and wide-format document processing

How to use

Feed paper and media evenly along the 400 mm feed opening, keeping items aligned to avoid jams. Insert single CDs or credit cards into the feed slot designed for media; follow any manufacturer markings on the feed to ensure correct orientation. For continuous operation, allow the unit to run in cycles as specified in the product manual and clear the collection container when full. Do not force oversized stacks: process large jobs in smaller batches to maintain consistent performance and reduce the risk of blockages.

Recommendations

Use the HSM Pure 740 for regular, high-volume office shredding where reducing paper bulk and securely destroying media are priorities. Maintain the cutting elements by following the manufacturer's maintenance schedule, avoid feeding bound volumes or materials not specified for shredding, and empty the collection container regularly to ensure uninterrupted operation.
