SSD-kotelo DeLOCK 42615 musta M.2

The DeLOCK 42615 SSD enclosure allows installation of a single M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD in sizes 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 and connects to a PC or laptop via USB. The enclosure uses a USB Type‑C port and supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s). Its robust metal housing contributes to stable operating temperatures for the drive and comes in a black finish.

Advantages

The enclosure supports high-speed data transfer at up to 10 Gbit/s over USB 3.2 Gen 2 and is compatible with common M.2 NVMe form factors (2280/2260/2242/2230). Tool-free installation lets you fit or replace an M.2 SSD quickly: the lid slides back, the SSD is secured to the PCB with a rubber nipple, and the lid is snapped back into place. The metal construction improves heat dissipation and provides durable protection for the drive.

Suitable for

• Expanding external storage from an M.2 NVMe SSD
• Quick data transfer between PCs and laptops via USB Type‑C
• Temporary cloning, backup or migration of M.2 SSD data
• Testing or transporting M.2 NVMe SSDs without installing them internally

How to use

Slide the enclosure lid backwards with slight pressure to open. Place the M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD onto the PCB and secure it using the rubber nipple provided. Push the lid back into position until it locks. Connect the enclosure to the host device using a USB Type‑C cable supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2. The connected computer should detect the drive as an external SSD; follow your operating system prompts to format or access the drive if required.

Recommendations

Use a USB 3.2 Gen 2 compatible cable and host port to achieve the stated 10 Gbit/s transfer speed. Allow adequate airflow around the metal enclosure during sustained heavy transfers to aid heat dissipation. Handle the M.2 SSD carefully and avoid excessive force when fitting the drive to the rubber nipple.
