Tether Tools CUC3315-ORG USB-kaapeli 4,6 m USB 3.2 Gen 1 Micro-USB B

The Tether Tools CUC3315-ORG is a 4.6 m USB cable designed for tethering cameras and other devices to computers. It uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) technology for data transfers up to 5 Gbit/s and features a USB A connector on one end and a Micro-USB B connector on the other. The cable's orange colour improves visibility and its length accommodates most tethering setups without adapters or dongles.

Advantages

This USB cable provides a direct connection between a USB 3.0 camera and a computer with a USB A port, eliminating the need for adapters. Constructed to USB specification standards, the Tether Tools cable is fully shielded and plated to reduce signal noise and transmission errors. The reversible connector on compatible devices and the bright orange colour help with ease of use and visibility during shoots.

Suitable for

• Tethered photography sessions with cameras that use Micro-USB B
• Connecting cameras or devices to computers for fast data transfers (up to 5 Gbit/s)
• Studio and location shoots where a visible, longer cable is beneficial

How to use

When shooting tethered, route the cable to avoid strain at the connectors and use a cable support (for example a TetherBlock or similar) where available to prevent accidental disconnection from shallow USB ports.

Recommendations

For reliable tethered shooting, keep the connection supported with a cable retention accessory and avoid sharp bends near the connectors. Store the cable coiled without tight loops to prolong its life.
