Timanttihiomalaikka Metabo 50 mm — kuivahionta, malli 628328000

Diamond grinding cup wheel Metabo 50 mm — dry use, model 628328000 is a compact abrasive tool designed for dry grinding of hard mineral surfaces. With a 50 mm diameter and a segmented diamond surface, it is intended for shaping, smoothing and removing material from concrete, mortar and natural stone. The wheel is compatible with angle grinders that accept 50 mm cup wheels and the appropriate mounting, offering consistent wear and efficient stock removal for renovation and surface-preparation tasks.

Advantages

The diamond segments provide fast material removal and uniform grinding performance while the compact 50 mm size allows work in confined or hard-to-reach areas. The tool is optimized for dry use, eliminating the need for water cooling in many repair and preparation jobs. Its construction supports steady cutting action and predictable abrasion behavior over the life of the wheel.

Suitable for

• Shaping and smoothing concrete edges and corners
• Removing mortar, thin coatings and small-scale surface defects
• Prepping small areas for patching or bonding
• Working on natural stone details and masonry touch-ups

Key specifications

• Diameter: 50 mm
• Use type: dry grinding
• Abrasive: diamond segments
• Typical applications: concrete, mortar, natural stone
• Design: segmented cup wheel for efficient debris clearance

How to use

Fit the cup wheel to an angle grinder that accepts 50 mm cup wheels and ensure the mounting is secure and compatible. Follow the grinder manufacturer’s instructions for mounting and safe operation. Use the tool at recommended speed ranges for small-diameter diamond wheels, apply even light-to-moderate pressure, and allow the abrasive to perform the cutting action without forcing. Maintain steady motion to avoid gouging and to achieve an even surface finish. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye, hearing and respiratory protection when grinding without coolant.

Recommendations

Inspect the wheel before each use for damage or excessive wear and replace if segments are missing or the bond is compromised. For prolonged tool life, avoid overheating by using intermittent passes and not exceeding the grinder’s recommended speed. When working on reinforced concrete, be cautious of embedded metal and stop work immediately if heavy vibration or abnormal sounds occur.
