Replacement separation pad for PLUSTEK scanners, model Z-27-653-0201A110 is a spare part designed to restore reliable paper feeding and separation in compatible document scanners and multifunction devices. This separation pad helps prevent double feeds and misfeeds by providing consistent friction between sheets, ensuring steady transport during scanning and copying tasks. It is supplied in black and grey and intended for maintenance or repair of units that exhibit feeding issues.

Advantages

The separation pad delivers consistent sheet separation to reduce paper jams and double feeds, improving scanning throughput and scan quality. As an original-brand compatible spare, it matches the friction and wear characteristics required for correct feeding performance. Its compact form factor makes replacement straightforward during routine maintenance, helping to prolong the lifetime of the paper transport mechanism and reduce downtime from feeding errors.

Suitable for

• Repair and maintenance of Plustek document scanners
• Replacing worn or glazed feed components to prevent multiple-sheet feeding
• Restoring reliable paper transport in office scanning equipment
• Service tasks on SmartOffice PS286 Plus, PS286, SmartOffice PS281, PL2550 and PS283 series

Key specifications

• Type: Separation pad for paper feed
• Compatibility: Select Plustek document scanners and multifunction units
• Colour: Black / Grey
• Function: Provides friction for sheet separation to prevent double feeds
• Form factor: Compact spare part sized to fit designated feed assembly

How to use

Power off the scanner and follow the device service instructions to access the feed assembly. Remove the old separation pad from the feed mechanism and clean the surrounding surfaces from dust and paper debris. Install the replacement pad in the same orientation as the original, ensuring proper seating and alignment with the pickup roller and paper path. Reassemble the scanner, power it on and run a test scan to verify correct sheet separation and consistent feeding.

Recommendations

For best results, replace the separation pad when feeding problems first appear or during scheduled maintenance. Use genuine or manufacturer-compatible parts and clean feed areas regularly. If multiple feeding issues persist after replacement, inspect pickup rollers and feed guides for wear and replace additional feed components as needed.
