USB-jatkojohto ShiverPeaks 3.0 A-uros 30-35075 — USB-A-USB-A data- ja virtajatkojohto

ShiverPeaks USB extension cable 3.0 A connector 30-35075 is an external USB-A to USB-A data and power extension designed to increase the effective reach of USB-A connections. It implements USB 3.0 signaling to provide higher throughput than USB 2.0 while maintaining backward compatibility for legacy devices. The cable carries both data and power, making it suitable for peripherals that require an extended physical connection without loss of basic functionality.

Advantages

The cable supports USB 3.0 data transfer rates for faster file transfers and reduced latency compared with USB 2.0. It preserves power delivery over the USB-A line to keep printers, external hard drives and other peripherals powered when placed farther from a host. The straightforward USB-A to USB-A configuration makes installation plug-and-play with compatible hosts and devices, and the external extension format avoids the need to reconfigure internal connections.

Suitable for

• Extending the connection of printers and multifunction devices
• Connecting external hard drives, SSD enclosures and optical drives at a greater distance
• Extending USB hubs or docking stations to reach a more convenient location
• Temporary or permanent extension of USB peripherals in office and home setups

Key specifications

• Interface: USB-A to USB-A
• USB standard: USB 3.0 signaling (backward compatible with USB 2.0)
• Functionality: Data transfer and power delivery over USB-A
• Use case: External extension cable for peripheral devices

How to use

Connect one end of the ShiverPeaks USB-A extension cable to the host or existing cable and the other end to the peripheral device requiring extension. Ensure both connected devices use USB-A interfaces and that any device drivers required by the peripheral are installed on the host system. For optimal performance, use the cable for direct device-to-host connections or between compatible intermediate devices such as hubs; avoid chaining multiple long passive extensions which may reduce signal quality.

Recommendations

For reliable USB 3.0 transfer rates, use this extension with compatible USB 3.0 hosts and devices and keep total passive cable length within recommended ranges for the devices involved. If you require longer distances with guaranteed performance, consider active USB extenders or powered hubs to maintain signal integrity and power delivery.
