USB-keskitin Trendnet TUC-H4E

The TRENDnet USB Hub TUC-H4E is a compact 4-port USB-C hub that expands a USB-C enabled laptop or desktop with four USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) Type-A ports. It supports high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s and is backward compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. The hub is bus-powered via the integrated USB-C cable and has a small footprint to limit desktop clutter.

Advantages

This ultra-mini hub provides four USB 3.1/3.2 Gen 1 ports for connecting flash drives, external storage enclosures and other peripherals at transfer speeds up to 5 Gbit/s. The integrated 10.5 cm USB-C cable simplifies installation without the need for drivers, and the hub’s compact 80 × 37 × 13 mm design keeps workspaces tidy. Backward compatibility ensures older USB devices can still be used.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB flash drives and external SSD/HDD to a USB-C laptop or desktop
• Connecting multiple peripherals such as keyboards, mice and card readers
• Expanding USB ports for travel or compact workstations

How to use

Plug the hub’s integrated USB-C cable into a USB-C port on your computer. Connect up to four USB Type-A devices to the hub’s ports. No driver installation is required for most operating systems; devices will be recognized automatically. For high-speed transfers, connect USB 3.x devices to achieve up to 5 Gbit/s; speeds will be lower when using older USB standards.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, connect high-speed storage devices directly to the hub when transferring large files and avoid powering high-draw devices (such as some external optical drives) solely from the hub. Use the hub with a USB-C port that supports data transfer (not USB-C power-only ports).
