UV-tussi Edding 8280 1,5 mm ja 3 mm kärjillä

The Edding 8280 UV marker with 1.5 mm and 3 mm tips is a dual-tip pen designed for invisible ultraviolet-visible marking. The marker contains ink that is not easily seen under normal light but fluoresces under UV illumination, enabling discreet marking and coding on a variety of materials. Its two tip sizes — a fine 1.5 mm and a broader 3 mm — allow alternating between precise lines and wider coverage without changing tools, making it practical for tasks that require both detail and speed.

Advantages

The dual-tip construction combines detailed marking and area coverage in one instrument, reducing the need to switch pens. UV-reactive ink offers covert marking that becomes visible only under ultraviolet light, supporting security, process control and inspection workflows. The marker’s ink formulation is designed for good adherence on common surfaces, and the compact, portable design makes it convenient for on-site use.

Suitable for

• Security marking and anti-theft tagging
• Invisible coding for inventory and asset identification
• Quality control, inspection and process tracing
• Hobby and craft projects requiring hidden details
• Event management and ticket validation

Key specifications

• Tip types: dual tips with 1.5 mm (fine) and 3 mm (broad) nibs
• Ink type: ultraviolet-reactive (fluorescent under UV light)
• Visible appearance: low visibility in normal light, fluoresces under UV
• Suitable surfaces: paper, cardboard, many plastics, and other non-porous and porous substrates (adhesion varies by material)
• Form factor: handheld, portable marker for manual marking

How to use

Shake the marker briefly before use to mix the ink. Select the tip required for the task — use the 1.5 mm tip for fine lines and precise codes, and the 3 mm tip for broader marks or faster coverage. Apply steady pressure and move at a consistent speed to produce even ink deposition. Allow the ink to dry briefly; drying time depends on substrate and environmental conditions. To verify marks, illuminate the marked area with a UV lamp or blacklight and inspect the fluorescent response.

Recommendations

For best results, test the marker on a small, inconspicuous area of the target material to confirm adhesion and fluorescence. Store capped in a horizontal position at moderate temperatures and keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight to preserve ink performance. When marking critical assets or documentation, combine UV marking with visible identifiers or records for reliable traceability.
