The ROLINE Pro 36U 600x1000 freestanding rack is a 19-inch server enclosure designed for flexible network cabling and secure equipment mounting. It supports up to 36U of rack space, has a maximum load capacity of 1000 kg and an IP20 protection rating. The cabinet features perforated front and rear doors for improved airflow, a perforated roof for fan module installation, inlet openings with brushes and foam-sealed slide-in grommets, and modular lockable side panels. Constructed from robust steel with powder-coating in grey (RAL 7035), the rack includes two pairs of galvanised 19" profile rails with front/back U markings and adjustable depth, depth braces and adjustable feet; the overall weight is 88.5 kg.

Advantages

The freestanding ROLINE Pro rack combines a sturdy steel construction with flexible cable entry options and enhanced ventilation through perforated doors and roof. Galvanised, depth-adjustable 19" rails with readable unit markings simplify mounting and positioning of equipment. Modular removable and lockable side panels and interchangeable hinges increase accessibility and serviceability, while a powder-coated finish provides corrosion protection.

How to use

Place the rack on a level floor and adjust the feet for stability. Mount equipment to the galvanised 19" profile rails using standard rack screws, adjusting the rail depth as needed and checking the unit markings for correct U positioning. Route network and power cabling through the roof and base brush inlets or the slide-on inlet with foam seal to maintain neat cable management and preserve airflow. Install fans in the perforated roof or use the perforated doors to improve ventilation as required. For maintenance, unlock and remove the modular side panels or swing open doors using the swivel handles.

Recommendations

For safe operation, distribute equipment weight evenly and secure heavy components at the lower U positions. Ensure sufficient airflow by keeping perforated panels unobstructed and consider installing a fan module in the roof for active cooling in high-density configurations. Follow local standards for grounding and electrical installation when installing power distribution units and cable entries.
