Vastus 75 Ω Kathrein ERA 12

The Kathrein ERA 12 is a 75 Ω termination resistor designed for reliable signal transmission in telecommunications and broadcasting equipment. It provides controlled termination to minimise reflections and signal loss, with a compact clamp-in design for straightforward installation in racks and distribution boxes.

Advantages

The ERA 12 offers stable impedance matching at 75 ohms, a compact clamp-in form factor that simplifies mounting, and construction aimed at long-term reliability and consistent performance across typical RF frequencies used in broadcast and telecom systems.

How to use

Install the ERA 12 by clamping it into the designated termination slot or connector in your distribution unit or outlet. Ensure the coaxial line is connected correctly and that the resistor is seated firmly to maintain reliable electrical contact. Use the component where a fixed 75 Ω termination is required to prevent signal reflections.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, use the Kathrein ERA 12 in systems designed for 75 Ω impedance and avoid exposure to environments with excessive moisture or mechanical stress. Verify compatibility with your enclosure or splitter before installation.
