Verkkokaapeli BlueOptics CB-LC-LC-SMF2M 2 metriä yksimuotopatchkaapeli

The BlueOptics CB-LC-LC-SMF2M 2 Meter Singlemode Patch Cable is a fiber-optic connection cable designed for singlemode networks. With LC connectors on both ends and a 2 metre length, this patch cable supports long-distance, low-loss optical signal transmission suitable for structured cabling in data centers, telecommunications racks and network equipment interconnects. The cable is intended for use where singlemode performance and precise connector termination are required.

Advantages

This singlemode patch cable provides low insertion loss and stable optical performance thanks to factory-terminated LC connectors. The 2 m length offers flexibility for short to medium rack-to-rack or device-to-panel links while reducing excess cable slack. The standardized LC terminations ensure compatibility with LC ports common on transceivers and optical equipment, enabling straightforward installation and predictable link performance.

How to use

Install the patch cable by aligning and inserting each LC connector into the corresponding LC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks into place. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation. For best performance, route the cable through cable management panels or trays to minimize mechanical stress and secure excess length to prevent accidental disconnection. When disconnecting, press the LC connector latch and gently withdraw the connector without twisting.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces for contamination before installation and clean with appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Use this singlemode patch cable for links that require low attenuation and high signal integrity, and store spare cables in a protective reel or box to maintain connector condition.
