Verkkokaapeli ROLINE Cat6a 15 m vihreä U/UTP

The ROLINE Cat6a 15m Green U/UTP networking cable is a 15‑metre Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured network environments. It features unshielded/untwisted pair (U/UTP) construction with standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends, and is colored green for easy identification in cable runs. The cable supports Cat6a performance parameters suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and higher-frequency applications where consistent signal quality and minimal crosstalk are required.

Advantages

This Cat6a U/UTP cable provides stable data transfer rates and meets the electrical characteristics expected for category 6a cabling, offering improved alien crosstalk resistance compared with lower category cables. The 15 m length allows flexible placement of devices without intermediate patching, while the RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network ports. The green jacket aids in visual organization of multiple cable runs and simplifies maintenance and troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and patch panels within office or home networks
• Workstation and desktop Ethernet connections requiring up to 15 m reach
• Structured cabling runs where Cat6a performance is desired

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded)
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Green
• Suitable bandwidth: up to 500 MHz (typical for Cat6a implementations)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (router, switch or network card) and the other connector into the corresponding port of the remote device. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal integrity. For permanent installations, secure the cable with suitable clips or cable management accessories, leaving gentle loops to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a U/UTP cable for horizontal and patch cabling where unshielded cabling is acceptable. Avoid running the cable in close parallel alongside high-voltage power lines or heavy machinery that may introduce interference. For installations requiring additional protection against external interference, consider shielded alternatives or conduit.
