Verkkokaapelitesteri LogiLink WZ0015

The LogiLink WZ0015 Network Cable Tester is a compact tool for verifying wired connections in telecommunication and data networks. It supports testing of RJ45, RJ12, RJ11 and BNC/coaxial cable pairs and can inspect all wire pairs and shielding to detect wiring errors and continuity issues. A detachable remote unit allows a complete line to be tested after installation, while clear LED indicators show the test result according to current wiring standards.

Advantages

The tester offers a simple, one-person operation with a compact housing and easy-to-read LEDs that indicate the status of each conductor. It supports multiple connector types (RJ45, RJ12, RJ11 and BNC), detects open, short and crossed pairs, and verifies cable shielding. The included remote unit enables end-to-end testing of installed runs.

Suitable for

• Network installers verifying Ethernet (RJ45) cable wiring
• Technicians testing telephone lines (RJ11/RJ12)
• Users checking coaxial/BNC connections for continuity
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing cabling installations

Key specifications

• Supported connectors: RJ45, RJ12, RJ11, BNC (coaxial)
• Indicators: LED display for individual conductor and shielding status
• Remote unit: included for end-to-end line testing
• Form factor: compact, handheld
• Brand / MPN: LOGILINK WZ0015

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the main unit and the other end to the remote unit (or insert both ends into the main unit for short cables). Power on the tester and observe the LED sequence. The LEDs will indicate continuity, open circuits, shorts, and crossed pairs according to standard wiring order. For BNC/coaxial cables connect the coaxial ends and check the continuity and shielding indicator.

Recommendations

For reliable results, test cables with both ends accessible and avoid using the tester on live telephone or network lines carrying power or signals. Store the remote unit with the main device to prevent loss, and replace batteries when LED brightness diminishes.
