Verkkokytkin PLANET ISW-500T, hallitsematon 5-porttinen Fast Ethernet (10/100), 12–48V, sininen

PLANET ISW-500T is an unmanaged 5‑port Fast Ethernet (10/100) switch designed for simple LAN expansion in small offices, retail environments and industrial or POE‑free network segments. The compact blue metal housing includes five RJ‑45 ports with auto‑negotiation and auto‑MDI/MDI‑X, support for full‑duplex operation and IEEE 802.3/802.3x flow control. The switch operates from a wide input range (12–48 V DC or 24 V AC), provides a 1 Gbit/s switching capacity and a MAC address table of 1,024 entries, and is engineered for continuous operation in demanding environments.

Advantages

The ISW-500T offers plug‑and‑play simplicity without configuration, low power consumption through Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) and auto power‑saving features, and a dual power input design for high availability. Its ruggedized IP30 compact case and wide operating temperature range enable deployment in harsher settings while built‑in ESD and surge protection improves connection stability and network reliability.

Suitable for

• Small office LAN expansion and departmental networks
• Retail point‑of‑sale and store networks without PoE requirements
• Industrial or building automation where compact, robust switches are needed
• Edge connectivity for IIoT devices requiring simple, unmanaged switching

How to use

Install the ISW-500T on a wall or DIN rail where permitted and connect the device to a suitable 12–48 V DC or 24 V AC power source using the provided power terminals. Use Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cables to connect workstations, routers or other switches to the RJ‑45 ports; the switch will automatically negotiate speed and MDI/MDI‑X. No configuration is required for standard switching functions—once powered and cabled the unit begins forwarding traffic at wire speed and applies flow control and energy‑saving behavior automatically.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated, dry location within its specified temperature range and ensure redundant power wiring if continuous uptime is required. For longer cable runs and maximum performance, use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables and verify grounding/ESD precautions in industrial installations to maintain stable operation.
