Verkkopistorasia 2× RJ-45 ShiverPeaks 74280-BR — Cat6a, 500 MHz, ruskea metallikotelo

ShiverPeaks S/CONN 74280-BR is a dual RJ-45 socket outlet engineered for structured cabling systems requiring Category 6a performance up to 500 MHz. The unit provides two independent Ethernet ports housed in a matt brown metal casing, designed for flush mounting in standard wall boxes. Supplied as a single-piece pack, this socket outlet is suitable for professional and residential networks where reliable high-speed wired connections are needed.

Advantages

The metal housing offers improved mechanical robustness and shielding compared with standard plastic faceplates, while the Cat6a-rated connectors support data rates and bandwidth necessary for demanding network applications. The matt brown finish provides a discreet, durable appearance that integrates with interior finishes. The dual-port layout allows two devices to be connected at a single outlet, reducing the need for additional wall plates or patch panels at the end point.

Suitable for

• Office workstations requiring Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet
• Home networks with high-bandwidth streaming and gaming
• Structured cabling installations in commercial or residential buildings
• Audio-video systems and VoIP phone connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × RJ-45 keystone jacks
• Performance class: Category 6a, suitable for up to 500 MHz bandwidth
• Number of ports: 2 independent Ethernet ports
• Housing material and finish: metal casing with matt brown surface
• Mounting: flush wall mounting compatible with standard electrical back boxes
• Application: structured cabling for Ethernet, Gigabit and multi-gigabit networks

How to use

Install the socket outlet into a compatible flush-mounted back box following local electrical and cabling regulations. Terminate the incoming network cable pairs to the rear of the keystone jacks using the appropriate wiring scheme (T568A or T568B) and a suitable punch-down tool or IDC termination method. After termination, secure the module into the metal faceplate and attach the faceplate to the wall box. Test each port with a network tester to verify continuity, pair integrity, and performance up to Cat6a specifications.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use quality Category 6a or higher twisted-pair cable and maintain proper cable management to avoid excessive bends and near-field interference. Ensure consistent wiring standards across the installation and verify each link with a certified cable tester when deploying multi-gigabit services.
