Verkon jatko Renkforce 1008431 2-johdin max. kantama 500 m, jopa 100 Mbit/s

Renkforce Network Extension 1008431 is a 2-wire Ethernet extender that transmits LAN signals over existing two-conductor cabling. It enables network connectivity to be extended up to 500 m without laying new Ethernet cable, providing data throughput up to 100 Mbit/s. The device is intended for situations where repulling structured cabling is impractical and allows standard Ethernet devices to remain connected using simple two-wire runs.

Advantages

This 2-wire extender uses existing wiring to bridge distances up to 500 m while retaining speeds up to 100 Mbit/s, reducing installation time and cost compared with installing new CAT cables. It supports transparent Ethernet transmission so connected devices operate without changes to network configuration. The compact design and straightforward wiring requirements make the extender suitable for retrofitting in residential and commercial buildings where only two-conductor lines are available.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet to rooms or floors without CAT cabling
• Connecting IP cameras, VoIP phones or access points over existing two-wire runs
• Temporary or permanent network extension in renovated buildings
• Situations where minimal rewiring and fast deployment are required

Key specifications

• Transmission medium: existing two-conductor (2-wire) cabling
• Maximum range: up to 500 m
• Data rate: up to 100 Mbit/s
• Network interface: Ethernet-compatible on LAN side
• Function: point-to-point signal extender over two wires

How to use

Install one unit near the network source and the corresponding unit near the remote device. Connect the Ethernet port on the source-side unit to your switch or router using a standard patch cable. Connect the remote-side unit to the target device with an Ethernet cable. Link the two units using the existing two-conductor cable, observing polarity if required by the product documentation. Power each unit according to the manufacturer’s instructions. After connections are made, verify link status and network throughput at the endpoints.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use well-maintained two-wire cabling and avoid long runs with significant physical damage or severe interference. Verify cable continuity and insulation before installation, and keep the two-wire route separated from strong electrical interference sources. Test the link speed and stability after installation and consider placement close to power sources if the units require external adapters.
