Wentronic AVK 196 SCART - 3x RCA + S-Video -adapteri, uros-naaras, musta 50123

The Wentronic AVK 196 solves a common legacy AV problem: connecting a SCART source to displays or capture devices that only offer RCA and S-Video inputs. Unlike simple one-way breakout cables, this adapter includes an input/output switch, so the same unit can route signals in either direction—from SCART to RCA/S-Video or from RCA/S-Video to SCART. That bi-directional capability makes it a flexible tool for mixed-era setups.

Highlights

• SCART male (21-pin) to 3x RCA female (composite video + stereo audio) and 1x S-Video female (4-pin mini-DIN)
• Input/output switch for bi-directional signal routing
• Supports composite video, S-Video, and stereo analog audio
• Black plastic housing, plug & play

In daily use

Use it to connect an older VCR, DVD player, or game console with SCART output to a modern TV or projector that only has RCA or S-Video inputs. Or reverse the direction to feed a legacy SCART display from a newer device with RCA/S-Video outputs. The switch eliminates the need for two separate adapters.
