SCART-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BS96010 2 m

The ShiverPeaks BS96010 SCART cable 2m provides a straightforward wired connection for analogue audio and composite/RGB video signals between consumer electronics. With SCART (21-pin) connectors on both ends and a 2-metre length, this cable is designed to link televisions, DVD players, set-top boxes and vintage gaming consoles while preserving signal integrity over short to moderate distances. The cable's construction supports the typical line-level audio channels and multi-pin video paths used by legacy AV equipment.

Advantages

This SCART cable delivers a reliable physical connection with standardized 21-pin SCART plugs, enabling both audio and video transfer without intermediate converters when connected to compatible devices. Its 2 m length offers flexibility in placement of connected devices while remaining compact enough for tidy cable management. The cable's durable outer jacket and molded connectors are intended to withstand repeated insertion and removal, reducing the risk of signal loss due to connector wear.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to DVD players and VCRs
• Linking set-top boxes or satellite receivers to displays
• Connecting retro gaming consoles to compatible televisions
• Substituting or replacing factory SCART leads for AV equipment

Key specifications

• Connector type: SCART (21-pin) on both ends
• Length: 2 metres
• Signal support: analogue audio and composite/RGB video
• Cable jacket: flexible protective outer sheath for everyday use
• Connector design: molded strain-relief ends for improved durability

How to use

Insert each SCART plug firmly into the corresponding SCART socket on the devices you wish to connect, ensuring the orientation of the 21-pin connector matches the device receptacle. If the connected devices support RGB, composite or audio pass-through via SCART, ensure the playback device and display are set to the appropriate input mode. For best results, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; avoid running the cable parallel to mains power leads to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

For stable performance, use this 2 m SCART cable where devices are within short to medium distances. When connecting older equipment, verify device settings for SCART output mode (RGB/composite) and, if necessary, select the matching input on the display. Store the cable coiled loosely when not in use to prevent kinking and inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage.
