Bachmann USB 3.2 Keystone-liitin C-C Power Delivery 100W (BM0022463)

The Bachmann USB 3.2 Keystone Coupler C to C with Power Delivery 100W is a keystone-style in-wall or panel mount coupler that joins two USB-C cables to extend connections while preserving high-speed USB 3.2 data transfers and up to 100W power delivery. Designed for AV installations, meeting rooms and workstation furniture, this coupler provides a compact, serviceable interface that fits standard keystone modules and wall plates, enabling neat cable management and reliable performance for modern USB-C devices.

Advantages

This USB 3.2 C-to-C keystone coupler supports bi-directional data rates associated with USB 3.2 and enables Power Delivery up to 100 watts, making it suitable for charging and powering laptops, tablets and other high-power USB-C devices. Its keystone form factor allows tool-friendly installation into panels, wall plates or modules, simplifying integration into AV racks or furniture. The device maintains a straightforward connection between two USB-C cables without adding active electronics, helping retain signal integrity for compatible cable assemblies.

Suitable for

• Extending USB-C connections in meeting rooms, classrooms and offices
• AV installations where a keystone-style interface is required
• Workspace furniture and desk grommets to provide accessible USB-C ports
• Connecting laptops, phones, tablets and peripherals that use USB-C for data and power

When it may not be suitable

This passive coupler relies on the capabilities of the connected cables and devices; it does not perform signal conversion or active conditioning. If your setup requires active signal repeaters, protocol conversion (for example, USB to HDMI) or certified high-current cables for sustained charging above what your existing cables support, this coupler alone may not meet those needs. For guaranteed maximum performance, use quality USB-C cables rated for USB 3.2 data speeds and 100W Power Delivery.

Key specifications

• Interface: USB-C female to USB-C female (keystone format)
• Data standard: USB 3.2 compatible data transfer
• Power Delivery: up to 100 W (PD)
• Mounting style: keystone module suitable for wall plates, panels or furniture modules
• Form factor: compact keystone insert for standard keystone openings

How to use

Insert the keystone coupler into a compatible wall plate, patch panel or furniture module until it snaps into place. Connect a USB-C cable from the source device to one side of the coupler and a second USB-C cable from the other side to the target device or charger. Ensure both cables and connected devices support USB 3.2 data rates and Power Delivery if high-speed transfer and charging are required. Verify cable orientation and secure connections; no additional configuration or drivers are necessary for basic pass-through operation.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm that your existing USB-C cables are rated for USB 3.2 data speeds if you require high-speed transfers
• Ensure cables and devices support Power Delivery at the required wattage for charging or powering laptops
• Verify that your wall plate or panel accepts keystone-format inserts
• Note that the coupler is a passive mechanical connector and does not provide active signal boosting or protocol conversion

Recommendations

Use high-quality, certified USB-C cables with appropriate data and power ratings, keep cable lengths within recommended limits for USB 3.2 performance, and install the coupler in accessible locations for straightforward maintenance and replacement.
