BlueOptics CBL-LC-OM4-2M-BO lasikuitu kaapeli 2m LC-liitin

The BlueOptics CBL-LC-OM4-2M-BO Fibre Optic Cable 2m LC Connector is a 2-metre duplex multimode cable designed for OM4 networks. It provides low-loss optical transmission between LC-terminated ports and is intended for high-speed data connections in data centres, server rooms and telecommunications racks. The cable construction supports multimode OM4 specifications to maintain signal integrity over short to medium distances.

Advantages

This 2m LC-to-LC OM4 cable delivers consistent multimode performance with reduced modal dispersion compared with lower-grade fibres. The duplex configuration and standardized LC connectors enable easy plug-and-play installation in patch panels, network switches and transceivers. The cable jacket and connector ferrules are engineered for stable alignment and minimal insertion loss, supporting reliable connections in dense cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches, servers and storage arrays
• High-speed LAN and SAN links within racks and across short runs
• Connecting LC-terminated transceivers and optical modules
• Telecommunications and structured cabling backbone segments

Key specifications

• Length: 2 metres
• Connector type: LC on both ends (duplex)
• Fibre type: Multimode OM4
• Configuration: Duplex
• Typical use: Short- to medium-distance high-speed data links

How to use

Inspect connectors and ensure dust caps are removed immediately before connecting. Align and insert LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on switches, transceivers or patch panels until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends; respect the minimum bend radius specified for multimode fibre to prevent attenuation. For disconnection, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 LC duplex cable for short to medium intra-rack and inter-rack links where 10GbE and higher multimode performance is required. Keep connectors clean, store with protective caps when not in use, and avoid tight bundling with power cables to reduce interference risks and maintain optimal optical performance.
