BlueOptics SFP3232BU7.5MK InfiniBand kuituoptinen kaapeli 7,5 m SC

The BlueOptics SFP3232BU7.5MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 7.5 m SC is a single-mode optical patch cable designed for high-speed, low-latency data transmission in InfiniBand networks. Constructed with G.657.A1 fibre, the cable delivers reliable signal integrity over a 7.5 metre reach and uses SC connectors for easy, snap-in connections to compatible ports. The cable supports full duplex communication and is intended for point-to-point links, patch panels and rack-mounted equipment where predictable optical performance and bend resistance are required.

Advantages

The G.657.A1 fibre construction provides improved bend performance compared with standard single-mode fibres, reducing signal loss in constrained routing scenarios. SC connectors offer a robust push-pull interface that is widely used in datacenter and telecommunications hardware. Full duplex capability enables simultaneous bi-directional data transfer, supporting the low latency and high throughput requirements of InfiniBand interconnects. The 7.5 metre length balances flexibility for rack cabling with minimal excess slack.

How to use

Route the BlueOptics fibre cable along the planned cable path, avoiding sharp bends beyond the specified bend radius for G.657.A1 fibre. Insert the SC connectors into the corresponding SC ports until you hear or feel the latch engage. Ensure each connector endface is clean before mating to minimize insertion loss; use a lint-free wipe and approved cleaning solution if residues are present. For full duplex links, connect each end of the cable to the appropriate transmit and receive ports as required by the InfiniBand hardware configuration. Secure excess cable length with Velcro ties or cable managers to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces prior to installation and periodically during maintenance. Maintain bend radii and avoid tight loops to preserve optical performance. Use appropriate cable management in racks and trays to prevent mechanical stress and to ensure long-term reliability of the InfiniBand link.
