BlueOptics UOC-5-BO InfiniBand kuitu-kaapeli 5 m LC uros-uros

The BlueOptics UOC-5-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 5 m LC male-to-male patch cable designed for high-speed optical data transmission in networking environments and data centres. With LC connectors on both ends and a 5 metre length, the cable provides a compact, low-loss link for connecting transceivers, patch panels or InfiniBand devices where short to medium reach optical connections are required.

Advantages

This LC–LC InfiniBand cable delivers reliable signal integrity and consistent performance for short range optical links. The male-to-male LC configuration simplifies connectivity between compatible devices and modules. Designed for networking use, the cable supports stable data transfer and reduces the risk of signal degradation over the 5 m span.

How to use

Inspect connector ferrules and remove protective caps before insertion. Align each LC connector with the device or transceiver port and insert until a tactile click confirms a secure latch. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for optimal performance. To remove, depress the LC latch and pull gently from the connector body.

Recommendations

For best results, keep connector end faces clean and use appropriate cleaning tools before mating. Store the cable without sharp bends and avoid tensile stress on the connectors. Match the cable to compatible InfiniBand transceivers and port types to ensure reliable operation.
