DAHUA CS4006-4GT-36 PoE 4-porttinen kytkin malli CS4006-4GT-36

DAHUA CS4006-4GT-36 is a compact PoE network switch offering four powered Ethernet ports plus uplink interfaces for small to medium surveillance and LAN deployments. Designed to deliver centralized power and data over standard Ethernet cabling, this switch supports installation of IP cameras, wireless access points and other PoE devices while keeping rack footprint and cable complexity low. The unit is suitable for edge aggregation, CCTV node installations and sites that require a simple, reliable PoE source integrated into an existing network.

Advantages

The switch provides integrated Power over Ethernet functionality that simplifies deployment of networked devices by eliminating separate power supplies and power cabling for each device. Its compact form factor and straightforward connectivity reduce installation time and physical space requirements. The device is designed for continuous operation in security and monitoring scenarios and supports standard Ethernet interoperability for easy integration with existing infrastructure.

Suitable for

• IP surveillance / CCTV camera deployments
• Wireless access point installations
• Small office or retail network edge aggregation
• Temporary or remote sites requiring consolidated PoE power

Key specifications

• Four PoE-enabled Fast/Gigabit Ethernet ports for simultaneous power and data transmission
• Additional uplink ports for connection to core switches or routers
• PoE power budget sufficient for multiple cameras and access points (refer to device manual for per-port power limits)
• Standard Ethernet switching functions for frame forwarding and basic traffic segmentation
• Compact housing designed for desktop or small rack/shelf mounting

How to use

Mount the switch in a stable, ventilated location near existing network equipment and connect the uplink port(s) to your router or core switch using Ethernet cabling. Connect PoE-capable devices such as IP cameras or wireless access points to the PoE ports; the switch will provide power and network connectivity over the same cables. Configure IP addressing and any required VLANs or basic settings on the connected network equipment; if management features are available, access the device management interface to review port status and power consumption.

Recommendations

Ensure the total PoE power draw of connected devices does not exceed the switch power budget. Use quality shielded or unshielded twisted-pair Ethernet cabling of appropriate category for the required data rate and distance. Place the switch in a clean, dry environment with adequate airflow and protect it from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture for reliable long-term operation.
