How to use

Plug the male DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort output of your computer or other video source. Connect either an HDMI cable from the adapter to an HDMI display or a VGA cable from the adapter to a VGA display. Configure the display settings on your source device as needed. Only one display output (HDMI or VGA) can be active at a time.

Recommendations

For HDMI audio to work, ensure the source device’s DisplayPort output supports audio passthrough and that the HDMI display is selected as the audio output in the operating system. Avoid using the adapter in environments where both HDMI and VGA outputs are required simultaneously.
