DRAKA U-DQ(ZN)BH yleiskaapeli kuitu 1x24 E9/125 OS2 LSHF 3kN

For backbone and campus installations where pulling tension, flame safety, and long-term signal integrity are non-negotiable, the DRAKA U-DQ(ZN)BH 1x24 E9/125 OS2 universal fiber optic cable strips away compromise. Unlike conventional indoor/outdoor cables that force a choice between mechanical robustness and halogen-free safety, this central loose tube design combines a 3 kN installation tensile rating with an LSHF sheath that meets IEC 60332-3-24 Cat. C flame spread requirements. The dry, gel-free core speeds up termination and eliminates messy cleanup, while the 24 single-mode fibers in bend-insensitive G.657.A1/A2 glass maintain OS2 performance even in tight routing spaces.

Highlights

• 24 fibers, 9/125 µm single-mode, OS2 (G.657.A1/A2, compatible with G.652.D)
• Central loose tube, dry water-blocked core – no gel, faster splicing
• LSHF black sheath: low smoke, halogen-free, flame retardant to IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-24 Cat. C
• High tensile strength: 3000 N during installation; crush resistance 1500 N/10 cm
• Compact 7.5 mm outer diameter with UV-resistant sheath for indoor/outdoor use

In daily use

Installers appreciate the cable's balance of stiffness and flexibility. The non-metallic strain relief elements (ZN) provide the necessary pull strength without adding conductive parts, simplifying grounding and lightning protection in campus runs. The dry core eliminates the need for gel removal tools and reduces preparation time at splice closures or patch panels. With a dynamic bending radius of 20 times the outer diameter, the cable can be routed through tight conduits and around corners without risking fiber damage. The black LSHF sheath resists UV exposure, making it suitable for outdoor aerial or direct burial applications, while its low smoke and halogen-free properties ensure safety in indoor plenum or riser spaces.
