Kuitukaapeli Alcasa LW-P8153 15 m LC sininen

The Alcasa LW-P8153 15 m LC Blue is an OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. It features LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter suitable for short to medium distance links in data centres and enterprise networking environments. The blue jacket and LC terminations make the cable easy to identify and install in patch panels and switch ports.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers low attenuation and consistent signal integrity across multimode links, supporting high-bandwidth applications. The LC connectors provide a compact form factor that saves space in high-density racks. The OM3 grade fibre core is optimized for laser-based transceivers, improving performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed protocols. The 15 m length allows flexible placement between racks or equipment without the need for additional splicing.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, servers and patch panels in data centres
• High-speed Ethernet links such as 10 Gigabit connections
• Enterprise LAN backbone and server room cabling
• Interconnects between rack-mounted network devices

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 15 m
• Jacket colour: Blue
• Typical applications: Short to medium distance high-speed links

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors and equipment ports for dust or damage before installation. Align the LC connectors with the transceiver or patch panel ports and insert until a positive click confirms engagement. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling or compression; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. If relocating equipment, disconnect by depressing the LC connector latch and gently withdrawing the connector to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and perform regular cleaning with approved fibre cleaning tools to preserve signal quality. For critical links, verify performance with an optical loss test to ensure compliance with network requirements.
